Camp Connect is a sacred space for women who do a lot and give a lot — and are ready to be filled back up.
This is your chance to unplug, slow down, laugh till it hurts and spend real, uninterrupted time with God. No pressure. No performance. Just space to breathe, rest under open skies, and hear His voice again.
Through meaningful teaching, guided reflection, honest conversations, and time outdoors, you'll reconnect with Jesus in a personal way — and build genuine friendships with women who are hungry for the same thing. Along the way, you'll experience the kind of joy that feels both freeing and deeply grounding — through creative art projects, scavenger hunts and exploring around town, worship around the fire, and laughter-filled moments that remind you how good it feels to simply be present.

At Camp Connect, each activity is designed to help you connect with God, your heart and others. You can choose the activities that are right for you, or just take a NAP.
What to Expect

Inspiration around the campfire — Hear insightful messages each evening around the light and warmth of the fire.

A guided journaling experience — Valerie Garcia, trauma-healing coach, will share a message of hope and lead us through Emmanuel journaling.

A backpack ritual — Join us on a guided hike designed to help you acknowledge the burdens you might be carrying and help you decide when it's time to let them go.

A creative moment — Have fun and get creative together in this workshop provided by Nature Matters KC, and take your creation home!

The Hawley Farm Scavenger Hunt — This is just fun! Do it by yourself or in a group.

Camp Connect Activities
Morning Stretch
Throw your yoga mat in the car because you don't want to miss waking up each day with guided stretches facilitated by Joslin James.
Daily Worship
Amber Hake will lead us in daily worship celebrations as we immerse ourselves in awe-inspiring beauty of the universe under a canopy of stars.
Community
What will you eat?? Don't worry; we have all that covered. Savor the joys of the great outdoors as you indulge in delicious catered meals provided by Janelle Wagner, a sister in Christ whose love language is FOOD!

Seamlessly, she integrates the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of each client for an exceptional and transformative experience.

Juanita Sanderson
A certified massage therapist, Juanita has a heart for people. Using an integrative approach, she works with techniques like cupping, stretching and myofascial in addition to Swedish massage, customizing each session for you. She creates a calm and peaceful space, with the goal that you will feel seen, heard and supported when you enter and lighter when you leave.

Sha'Nae Nelson-Murphy
A massage therapist for the past 17 years, Sha'Nae continues to love absolutely every moment of her craft! She has experience in several modalities but is most passionate about the therapeutic, medical, athletic aspect of massage therapy.
